At My Car Choice, we are dedicated to providing our customers with confidence and peace of mind when purchasing a vehicle. To this end, all vehicles sold by us include a 12-month standard warranty*, offering comprehensive coverage during the first year of ownership.

ENGINE

Coverage includes vital internal components:

  • Cylinder block, liners, and bores
  • Cylinder head (excludes cracks and porosity)
  • Crankshaft, crank bearings, and big end bearings
  • Oil pump, connecting rods, small end bearings
  • Pistons, piston rings, and gudgeon pins
  • Rockers, rocker shaft, and hydraulic lifters
  • Camshaft, cam followers, and camshaft bearings
  • Push rods, inlet and exhaust valves
    (excluding overheating, burnt, pitted, or sticking valves)
  • Valve springs and guides
  • Flexplate and starter ring gear
MANUAL GEARBOX

Includes coverage for:

  • Gear clusters and gears
  • Shafts, selectors, and synchromesh assemblies
  • Bearings (ball, roller, and needle)
  • Bushes and transfer gears
AUTOMATIC GEARBOX

Protection includes:

  • Valve block, oil pump, and governor
  • Internal gears, brake bands, and servos
  • Seals, clutches, and shafts
  • Bearings, bushes, transfer gears
  • Modulator valve
DIFFERENTIAL

Covers:

  • Front, rear, and centre differentials
  • Crown wheel and pinion assembly
  • Planetary gear set, internal shafts
  • Bearings, bushes, spacers, and thrust washers
  • Bevel gears
    (Note: Fluid differentials and couplings are not included)

This guarantee covers only the components listed above. For broader protection, including additional systems and components, please contact us at [email protected]. We kindly ask that the customer provide a diagnostic report to confirm the issue with the vehicle. Please note that any expenses related to obtaining the diagnostic report are the sole responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed by the dealership. All repairs must be authorised by My Car Choice prior to being carried out; failure to obtain such authorisation will render the customer's claim null and void.

Upgrade Options with AU Warranties

AU Warranties offer flexible and comprehensive extended warranty plans. The available options are as follows:

  • AU Standard Lifetime Ownership = £599 + VAT
  • AU Absolute Warranty (1 year) = £399 + VAT
  • AU Absolute Warranty Lifetime Ownership = £699 + VAT

AU Standard Warranty

AU Standard Warranty £599+ VAT, 3 and 12-month contracts - £500 claim limit.

This cover applies to vehicles which are up to 12 years old and covered less than 110,000 miles at inception. Almost all electrical and mechanical components are covered for total failure except those listed under parts not covered.

You are covered for mechanical and electrical failure on all mechanical and electrical components that were originally fitted on the vehicle, except otherwise stated.

AU Absolute Warranty

Strongest protection with our most comprehensive guarantee

Absolute Cover is available on vehicles that are up to 80,000 miles at inception. Once the vehicle exceeds 80,000 miles, cover will return to Standard Cover with the same benefits as out standard guarantee.

Benefits of Absolute Cover

  • Replacement vehicle hire is available for authorised repair (24 hours after the repair has commenced) with a repair manual labour time of more than 8 hours. Cost of hire limited to £60 per day, for a maximum of 2 days.
  • Overnight accommodation or rail costs up to a maximum of £100, for valid repairs.
  • Up to 60 days continental cover for valid claims.
  • Auto Union breakdown Assistance is included (up to £250) with Absolute Cover and may provide assistance on the roadside or at home. It will either get you back on the road or recover you to the nearest authorised repairer.
  • In-car entertainment systems
  • Aircon
  • Clutch components (excluding friction plate)

And for the first 6 months all the upgrade options:

  • Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR)
  • Diesel particulate filter (DPF)
  • Catalytic converter (CAT)
  • Battery
